You've just had a brainstorm and generated a huge number of amazing ideas. How do you narrow down the options? There are a number of different tools that you might use, but one of the most flexible and effective tools that I know about is something I call the 2x2 narrowing method.

With the 2x2 method, you identify 2 dimensions based on 2 criteria that are important to you, and then you map the options to those dimensions.
